Brief Description

Salisbury Foundation for Research and Education, Inc. (SFREI) is a small, but growing non-profit and has been incorporated since 2006. SFREI is affiliated with The W. G. 'Bill' Hefner VA Medical Center (SVAMC). SVAMC is a level 1C facility and with over 93,000 patients has been one of the fastest growing VA medical centers over the last ten years. SVAMC has a fully equipped research department with a Research Pharmacist, local IRB and R&D, Research Compliance Officer, full AAHRPP accreditation, and a dedicated research building. SVAMC also has dedicated research space in the Health Care Clinics in Charlotte, NC and Kernersville, NC. SVAMC is committed to and excited about growing the research program in order to better serve our veterans.
