    Brief Description

The Biomedical Research Foundation does both Prime and sub for federal awards, which was not a choice, though we currently have only sub-awards. We hope to have a 2-3 bed Phase I unit up by the end of the calendar year. CAVHS has recently issue policy on federal grant submission regarding the Foundation and the affiliate. Clinical trials have historically focused on cardiovascular, vascular, PTSD, endocrine, though both Foundation and CAVHS are making a bigger effort to stimulate additional areas of clinical research, such as wound healing.
