Brief Description

Richmond VAMC has a 55,000 E-Searchable patient panel. NPC has 54 active clinical research trials supported primarily by industry, and has been conducting clinical trials since 1989. Our NPC signed the largest number (30) of CRADAs (i.e. research contracts) in the VA system last year and are exceeding that number this year. Keys to our continued success in clinical research are institutional support to seek innovative treatment options, weekly IRB meetings, fast research contract turn around time, ACRP certified nurse coordinators, and understanding that we are only as good as our last study. We nail our enrollment targets, and only take studies that we can succeed with.
